Morris Inn

Right on Notre Dames campus a really nice hotel with a great restaurant in Rohr. They held our food for us while we were at a comedy show and were able to dine in after the place was closed. If I’m ever back in south bend I’d definitely stay here!

Beyond the connivence and comfort of the Morris Inn, the most compelling reason to stay here is their staff. Each staff member I encountered, from front desk to custodial, greeted me with genuine kindness & eagerness to make my stay as hospitable as possible. Staff accommodations far exceeded my expectations and reflected their high standards of hospitality.

Great stay. Did not eat at the restaurant or have a drink at the bar, but both were busy all evening long. Located on the ND campus. Easy access to everything on campus. The campus is a special place and so is the Morris Inn. Staff was outstanding!

This hotel is spectacular and very well located if you are visiting the University of Notre Dame. Staff are very friendly and resourceful to answer questions. The rooms are very well decorated, clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Temperature inside the room is easy to control and the AC is not noisy. I enjoyed the amenities, particularly the bathrobe, it was soft to touch and warm, ideal for using after a warm shower before bed. The bathrooms are spacious and the shower not spill water while using. Theres a hair dryer in the bathroom, which I didn’t use so I cannot rate its quality, but the beauty mirror was handy! There are plugs to connect electronic devices in easy to reach places and WiFi is fast. I also loved that there is a Notre Dame magazine in the room to learn about the culture and news of the university. Outdoor areas are comfortable and I liked that many students are studying in the common areas or having friendly social activities. I did not see any person smoking in outdoor areas, which I totally appreciate. The rooms are a bit pricey respect to more affordable options in the area, but it is absolutely worthy. Highly recommended.

Truly a spectacular hotel! We ended up staying here for a night while on a road trip—without having any connections to Notre Dame—and it was such a great experience. Every hotel employee I encountered was incredibly friendly and the rooms were SO clean. Truly the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. I will go out of my way to stay here again.

Stayed in Morris Inn during our recent visit to south bend and it’s a wonderful place inside Notre Dam campus . The rooms and carpets are super clean , super clean towels and sheets , staffed by students who are friendly and helpful , very cosy and the place has lot of life , the lobby area is beautiful and breakfast and coffee is great . They provide quick shuttle service if you don’t find parking at the hotel campus . Looking forward to staying here again .

This is a great hotel right on Norte Dame’s campus. I love that they employ a lot of students and everyone is so helpful and respectful. Our room was clean and spacious. Loved the soaps and shampoos. Very high tech room service/wake up call box. Would stay here again and our bed was so comfortable!

I wanted to leave a 1-star review out of pure spite because Mizzou lost, but the Morris Inn made it impossible. This place is perfect. The service? Impeccable. The rooms? Pristine. The location? Stunning. Unfortunately, the location is stunningly close to the stadium where my hopes and dreams were crushed by the Fighting Irish. My South Bend experience was technically 'ruined' by the scoreboard, but I can't even be mad at the hotel because the staff was so nice while I was wallowing in defeat. Pros: High thread count sheets (great for absorbing tears), top-tier service. Cons: The Fighting Irish actually fighting and winning. It is absolutely no fault of the hotel that my team lost, but I’m going to need a few months to recover emotionally. I’ll be back... hopefully with a better defense next time.
